Yesterday was my last work day at ORNL for the summer. Aside from a very hectic two hours in the morning, during which I was frantically trying to reunite with my phone, it was a pretty quiet day, like most of my days at ORNL have been. This was a very different experience from most of my prior internships, and that took a lot of adjusting. It was also quite a bit shorter: I’ve only been here since May 6. But I really did enjoy my time here, and I’m sad that it’s ending so soon.
However, now I turn my full attention to the July 30 thesis proposal date. Ho boy. But not before I spend the first half of today checking out the Smokies!
