For a few hours today, I was the only person on the entire floor of the building where I work. So of course, I locked myself out by forgetting my keycard. Thankfully, only 15 or so minutes went by before another overachiever (somebody in my research group, no less) arrived and let me back in. I even got to enjoy a lovely earl gray while I was waiting.
I didn’t get much done today, mostly organizational stuff. But regardless, the next 7 days are probably going to be the hardest ones yet: we’re aiming for a soft deadline of Friday, July 19, with an absolute hard deadline of Monday, July 22.
